LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Arnold Schwarzenegger once said he'll be back, but does that hold true for a fourth "Terminator" film?
The next installment of the sci-fi franchise, following 2003's successful "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines," is already underway, report news sources.
Under the watchful eye of "T3" director Jonathan Mostow, "T3" writers have already drafted an initial script for the sequel that will begin production in 2005.
Mostow has plans to helm a thriller for Paramount first, but Intermedia will soon court him to direct "T4" next and set up a budget for the film.
It's not certain whether Schwarzenegger will be able to reprise his role since he's busy doing that other job, governor of California. It's possible, however, that he'll appear in a limited role, with a new terminator model introduced to star.
"T2" and "T3" did something similar by introducing the shape-shifting T-1000 (Robert Patrick) and the alluring Terminatrix (Kristanna Loken), respectively. "T3" earned $150.4 million at the domestic box office.
