It's probably the region setting of the player. In Holland we have region 2 in the Ukraine you have Region 5. Fortunately you can set your player on a region code free mode. Here's how to do it:

1) Open disc drawer
2) Type the code 8806 (via your remote control); A menu opens
3) Select 9 for Region code free

Then all of your discs should work, regardless the region.
