In dit artikel laat Simon Pegg weer wat los over het slotstuk van de 'Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy' (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz en deze nieuwe film). Hij hoopt in het najaar samen met Edgar Wright te beginnen aan deze nieuwe film.
Ik geloof dat ik maanden geleden al eens iets over deze film gehoord had. Het zou een SF-film worden. De voorlopige titel -The World's End- lijkt dit te bevestigen. Tot die tijd hebben de betrokkenen het nog druk. Pegg en Nick Frost gaan in de zomer nog een nieuwe film opnemen (Paul, van de regisseur van o.a. Superbad) en Wright is bezig met de comic-verfilming Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.
De resultaten 1 tot 25 van 35 worden weergegeven.

Als "The World's End" net zo goed wordt als Shaun of the Dead en Hott Fuzz, kan ie voor mij niet snel genoeg komen

Laat maar komen! Zowel Shaun of the Dead als Hot Fuzz waren erg leuke komedies met hoge herkijkwaarde.

De opnames gaan volgens Deadline in september eindelijk van start. Dat wil zeggen, ervan uitgaande dat Universal Pictures definitief het groene licht geven. Gezien de resultaten van de voorgaande delen uit de Three Flavours Cornetto-trilogie lijkt dat wel te gebeuren.
De officiële samenvatting:
20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hell bent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King, a 40-year old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their home town and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub, The World’s End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s. Reaching The World’s End is the least of their worries.

De film heeft nu officieel het groene licht gekregen van Universal Pictures.

Als deze film van hetzelfde niveau is als Shaun of the Dead dan laat hem idd maar snel komen! Hot Fuzz vond ik een tikje minder van SofD, maar ook nog vermakelijk.

Slecht nieuws:
Beste,
The World's End gaat helaas helemaal niet meer draaien in de Nederlandse bioscopen.
Universal Pictures International Netherlands verwacht niet dat deze film in Nederland haar commerciële doelstellingen kan halen en daarom is besloten deze film niet uit te brengen.

Heb net de trailer gekeken...........ik snap Universal wel. Wat een vreselijke trailer.
Shaun of the Dead was leuk, daarna hadden ze op moeten houden vind ik.

Hij lijkt mij wel geinig.... Shaun of the Dead ken ik niet, maar Hot Fuzz wel en die vind ik geweldig...
