Is dit de nieuwe Batwing in TDKR?

Aan de telelens van de fanatieke filmspotters lijkt niet te kunnen ontsnappen. Hieronder zie je een nieuwe setfoto van Christopher Nolans The Dark Knight Rises. Het lijkt erop dat we een eerste blik krijgen op een nieuw voertuig van de rijke superheld van Gotham City. Vermoedelijk zien we zelfs de Batwing, in Tumbler uitvoering. De foto's werden genomen bij de Wabash Tunnel in Pittsburgh.

Vanaf 19 juli 2012 draait The Dark Knight Rises in de Nederlandse bioscoopzaal.

In Nolan's laatste Batman film zijn de hoofdrollen uiteraard voor Christian Bale (Bruce Wayne Batman), Anne Hathaway (Selina Kyle / Catwoman), Gary Oldman (Jim Gordon), Tom Hardy (Bane), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (John Blake), Michael Caine (Alfred) en Morgan Freeman als Lucius Fox.

Trust in Bane

Often you will hear this little statement from fans of Christopher Nolan, "In Nolan we trust." I've heard it a lot more after Bane and Catwoman were revealed to the masses.
You know who else trusts Nolan? Tom Hardy. The actor has read the comments of the fans who may not be entirely satisfied with how their beloved Bane is looking, or sounding.
Hardy responded to the criticism during an interview with Cinemovie.tv. You can listen to the whole thing here.
When you listen in, you will hear Hardy joke around, "I do read comments and I cry. I can't cry for everybody." He also knows how fandom goes, "So many people love him. And when you step into that role - you are going to fail. And be judged." Then Hardy says something all too familiar, "Just trust me. I trust Nolan."
Hardy also adds that he gained 179 for WARRIOR then increased his weight to 190 to play Bane in THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. He says that some fans want to see him at 220 pounds then jokingly corrects himself saying that they actually want him at 400 pounds.
I completely agree with Hardy here. No one is every going to be pleased in a universal aspect. Someone, somewhere is always going to find a fault to bitch/whine about. That's just how it is.

The Occupy Wall Street demonstrators are expected to get some company soon in the form of the Caped Crusader.

Los Angeles Times reports that The Dark Knight Rises will arrive in New York City on October 29 for 14 days of shooting, which very well might include filming scenes at the ongoing protests.

"While it's unclear what shape the protean movement will take in the coming weeks, the demonstrations will almost certainly be continuing during the period that The Dark Knight Rises shoots in New York. While the person who'd been told of the plans said the protests could figure into the production, they said that doesn't mean they will be included in the storyline," according to the paper. "In other words, Nolan, who's known for carefully planning out scenes months in advance, wouldn't necessarily be tweaking the script; he'd simply be using the protests as a backdrop or a stand-in for something that already exists in the film."

The scenes to be filmed in Manhattan will call for extras with law enforcement, military and martial arts experience.
