Volledig met u eens. Ik wacht nog af of Shia een leuke sidekick is, maar als hij de naam moet verder zetten hoeft het voor mij ook al niet meer. Harrison Ford = Indiana Jones. Nuff said!

Ik lees net de volgende quote van Spielberg op nu.nl:

"Dat hangt vooral af van het succes van deze film", zei de wereldberoemde regisseur." Ik ben momenteel vooral bezig met Lincoln."

Daar zal wel goedkomen dan, want deze film wordt sowieso succesvol (of misschien bedoelt hij ook succesvol in termen van goede recensies?)

Ik kijk ook meer uit naar Lincoln dan naar een Indy 5. Verwacht veel van dit nieuw project van Spielberg. Hou wel van historisch getinde films, zeker met een regisseur als Spielberg.

Harrison Ford Is Indiana Jones, Not Shia, Says Lucas

Shia LaBeouf will not become the next Indiana Jones, George Lucas has told MTV News. Although Lucas has previously hinted that LaBeouf would take over the franchise, he reversed himself Wednesday, saying, "Indiana Jones is Indiana Jones. Harrison Ford is Indiana Jones. If it was Mutt Williams [the character LaBeouf plays in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull] it would be Mutt Williams and the Search for Elvis or something." Lucas did say that he's planning another Indiana Jones sequel and that Ford will star in it. What he's looking for now, he indicated is what Alfred Hitchcock used to refer to as a "McGuffin," an artifact to propel the story. "They are very hard to find," he said. "It's like archeology. It takes a huge amount of research to come up with something that will fit."

Mij maakt het niet echt uit, ik vind Shia eigenlijk wel goed in blockbusters, alleen zou ik dan met iets nieuws beginnen in plaats van het Indiana Jones te noemen zoals ik hier eerder al eens zei (maar dat doen ze natuurlijk niet want dan brengt de film maar half zoveel op).

Maar het beste voor het hele project - moest er effectief een volgende film komen - zou natuurlijk zijn dat mr. George Lucas er met zijn poten van afblijft (aangezien het toch zo'n beetje de consensus lijkt te zijn dat het zijn schuld is dat de vierde film zo tegenviel).

Ik zit er niet op te wachten. Als Spielberg zijn zin krijgt om het terug naar de oude sfeer te brengen ok, maar als Lucas terug zijn zin krijgt no way!

George Lucas in "Think Mode" for Indy 5

Like music to the ears... the Man himself has confirmed that his longtime friend and collaborator, the plaid one, the Creator, the guy with more money than Jabba the Hutt, George Lucas is hard at work crafting a fifth adventure for the intrepid archaeologist! Ford said that he isn't keen on an animated Indiana Jones adventure but rather doing a live action movie.
From Corn Flakes to cartoons this article has it all, so lets look at the article from the Los Angeles Times and see what Ford said about Indy's next big screen epic:

Harrison Ford said Friday that momentum is building for a fifth movie in the "Indiana Jones" franchise and that George Lucas is already cooking up a suitable plot for a heroic senior citizen with a penchant for whips and fedoras.
"It's crazy but great," the 66-year-old Ford said. "George is in think mode right now."
Now, though, the latest success and the fact that the franchise's old machinery was revived has Ford thinking a fifth movie is not only a viable idea, but an attractive one.
"It's automatic, really, we did well with the last one and with that having done well and been a positive experience, it's not surprising that some people want to do it again," Ford said.
I asked Ford who specifically is stirring up the idea of another revival, whether it was Lucas, Spielberg or the star himself? "Really, it comes from the ethos, from the ether. It's natural. It's a way of nature, of course, success breed opportunities ... also we don't stay as closely in contact as have in the last year, that's part of it."
Ford said, though, he would not be game to making an animated "Indiana Jones" film, a notion that became at least a possible option after Lucas took his "Star Wars" theatrical saga into the computer-generated realm with "The Clone Wars" this summer.
"I'm not philosophically against doing animation roles but not for Indiana Jones," Ford said. "I'd hate to see it reduced in any way from the movies that we have done and the way we have done them."

Talking Indy, fabrics and acting with a reporter, Karen Allen aka Marion Ravenwood-Williams-Jones, had this to say about the gangs desire fore Indy 5:

"I think possibly there will be another one but the challenge is how to make it good," she said in Sydney yesterday. "George and Steven and Harrison want everything to be perfect and worthy of the films that have gone before. The biggest obstacle is that they are so sincere in their efforts to make a good script, to not just make a film to make a film."

Tjah, ik ben benieuwd, van mij mag ie komen. Ze hebben iets goeds te maken namenlijk

. Als ze het dan nog 'ns verkloten, dan wordt 't net zo iets als wat ik nu heb met de nieuwe Star Wars trilogie tov de ouwe.

Oh en jah, Harrison Ford kan 't best nog 'n keer, zoals te zien in de vorige. Maar Shia Laboeuf (?)mag van mij ook terug komen hoor.

Meer bevestiging over een deel 5:

A few weeks ago, Harrison Ford told MTV News that the ball for Indiana Jones 5 was in George Lucas's court as he needed to find the next quest for Indiana Jones. Now, at an award ceremony honoring Samuel L. Jackson, Lucas echoes Ford's remarks and admits he is "working on it" as Indy would say. In the immortal words of Marion Ravenwood from Raiders; "Well, whatever your doing, do it faster". A sentiment that many actors who have been under Mr. Lucas's direction will say are his rules for acting as well; "Faster and more intense". Indyfans hope that Mr. Lucas practices what he preaches and we see Indy back up on the big screen where he belongs very soon. We would even watch two hours of Indy looking for his car keys!

Ik heb nr 4 en vond het een goede film, echt niet minder dan de andere drie.
Dus van mij mag een nr 5 komen.

Ik heb bv ook de laatste Rocky gekocht maar vond het niet veel, de laatse Rocky was voor mij nr 4.
Ik heb ze allemaal.
