Nou achterhaald in de zin van de kwaliteit die jpg biedt wanneer je een foto flink moet comprimeren. Als de compressie bij jpg niet zo hoog is ziet het er idd prima uit, maar zodra de compressie omhoog gaat ziet jpg er naar mijn mening niet zo goed meer uit, getuige de foto's hierboven. RAW is uiteraard het beste wat je kunt gebruiken, maar wil je tóch comprimeren met behoud van kwaliteit moet je absoluut voor png gaan. Dat is een lossless formaat. Heb je nog beestjes in het wild gefotografeerd Patrick? Kangarootje hier of daar? Zijn mooie foto's in de Zoo maar die hadden overal gefotografeerd kunnen worden. Ben dus wel benieuwd naar wat authentieke plaatjes.... Misschien een verdwaalde Aboriginal met een didgeridoo tegen zn porum....?
@Michael: JPG achterhaald? Is dat niet een tikkie overdreven...? En waarom dan eigenlijk? Zelf schiet ik in RAW en JPG trouwens.

Ben ik nou gek of zie ik rondom sommige details nou een halo ? Mensen op het strand, bootjes in het water, eerder al de zwart/wit van de giraffes, en nog veel meer maar minder opvallend.

Dat klopt van die halo, het is het beste van twee kwaden. Het heeft niet met sharpening te maken, maar met verkeerde belichten. Dit is te corrigeren met commands als levels en curves en shadows highlights, maar ten koste van dit soort artefacten.
Als iemand weet hoe ik deze weg kan werken, dan hoor ik het graag!
Gelukkig kreeg ik al techniek gedurende de reis steeds meer onder de knie - gezien de dagelijkse oefening - en zijn mijn later foto's al een stuk beter kwa belichting.|Gekeken films (WhatIWatch) |
