Access Hollywood reports that Tom Cruise is overseas scouting shoot locations for Mission: Impossible 3. "We will be here for a few days and it depends on how many locations we get here, so it could be many months," Cruise told the program.

One of Cruise's European stops included The Reichstag in Berlin. "Right now we are just working, looking at locations, developing a visual style of picture," he added.

From Berlin to Africa, Tom scouted seaports and remote villages for just the precise locations. He also stopped off in Accra, Jamestown in the country of Ghana.

"You see how we certainly emulated the architecture in 'Minority Report' and it's really good for the story...They are beautiful locations. I hope it works out," he said.

Carrie-Anne Moss Accepts Third Mission

"The Matrix" trilogy star Carrie-Anne Moss has signed on to Mission: Impossible 3, which is aiming for an August start date, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Moss will take a leading role in the sequel, which will see Tom Cruise reprise his role as secret agent Ethan Hunt. His Paramount-based Cruise/Wagner Productions has recently been scouting locations in Ghana and Berlin.'

Joe Carnahan is een, naar mijn mening, betere regisseur dan John Woo. Ik denk dat deze film zowaar misschien wel de beste van de 3 kan worden.

Joe Carnahan is een, naar mijn mening, betere regisseur dan John Woo. Ik denk dat deze film zowaar misschien wel de beste van de 3 kan worden.

Niet echt betere, dat ook weer niet. De sfeer die Carnahan bij Narc bewerkstelligde geeft me goeie moed voor deze film. Woo heeft ook heel veel goeie films gemaakt (vooral zijn HK) waar Carnahan nog veel van kan leren. Bedenk, Carnahan heeft pas 2 feature films op zijn naam staan, Woo heel wat meer.

True. Maar die mening komt eigenlijk door twee zaken; NARC vond ik erg goed. Verrassend goed. En... ik ben geen John Woo fan. Niet één film vind ik interessant genoeg om vaker dan één keer te kijken.

Branagh Takes on an Impossible Assignment

Kenneth Branagh has joined Tom Cruise and Carrie-Anne Moss in Mission: Impossible 3 for C/W Prods. and Paramount Pictures, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Branagh, who appeared as Gilderoy Lockhart in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, has signed on for the action-adventure sequel, though details about his character are being kept under wraps. He may play a villain, but that's not confirmed.

The trade adds that further casting is under way on the sequel, which is due to go into production in late summer. Frank Darabont is writing for the third installment, which Joe Carnahan will direct.

Atkins & Kirk Join Mission: Impossible 3

Eileen Atkins and Justin Kirk have been added to the cast of Paramount's Mission: Impossible 3, starring Tom Cruise.

Atkins, best known for her work on the British stage, will next be seen in Vanity Fair. Kirk starred in Angels in America. Narc director Joe Carnahan is helming the film produced by Cruise and Paula Wagner with production starting this summer for a May 2005 release.

Ving Rhames, Carrie-Anne Moss, Kenneth Branagh, and Scarlett Johansson also star.

De openings scene bijv. was al extreem cool, de vette achtervolgings scene, de motor scene, de schietscenes, Tom Cruise speelt goed, eigenlijk zoveel goede dingen aan MI2 die ik goed vind!

Germany Turns Down M:I-3 Parliament Filming

Reuters reports that Germany has turned down a request by Tom Cruise to shoot scenes for Mission: Impossible 3 in the famous Reichstag parliament building's giant glass and steel dome. Cruise was in the capital last month to scout locations for the second sequel, which starts shooting later this year.

One of his favorite locations was the 130-feet diameter dome on the top of the parliament building, said a spokesman for the Studio Babelsberg production firm near Berlin, which is working with Cruise to find locations.

But the German parliament turned down the request to film there. "The building is not available as a film location and we refuse point blank every request to use it as such," said a spokesman for Parliament President Wolfgang Thierse. "It is about maintaining the dignity of the parliament."

Ze zeggen al een half jaar dat Antwerpen 1 van de mogelijke locaties zal zijn.
Als ze naar hier komen zouden ze filmen in het Centraal Station, aan de Haven en de Cogels Osylei (straat met art deco huizen).

Ik zie het al voor mij gebeuren!
